One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their life. GMC and CBS Atlanta are committed to early detection of breast cancer and raising awareness to make sure that statistic will never increase.
"There's no question that breast cancer is a critical issue to our viewers. We're thrilled to work with Gwinnett Medical Center and help women take the necessary steps for early cancer detection," said Steve Schwaid, news director of CBS Atlanta News and Digital Content. "At CBS Atlanta News we want to help educate and save women from this cancer that can be beaten with early detection and awareness."
